One aspect of CSRC's mission is to offer educational opportunities through engaging events. In this event, we partnered with the Hydroponic Venture Project to demonstrate how everyone can eat healthily while still enjoying the food they love. Nutritionist Lara Field even gave an interactive lesson on how we can eat healthy and have a balanced diet!
Chef Sebastian White created an enjoyable cuisine experience - showing everyone how we can eat healthy and create unique dishes at the same time. He also gave everyone the chance to help cook and of course we got try the food at the end!
Lastly, CSRC and HVP partnered to organize a food-themed distribution. Each student got to take home fresh produce and a recipe book to try cooking some nutritious meals at home!
